Haircuts and Hoodlums

Is this twin beginning to look slightly like Edward Scissorhands?

Or maybe Michael Jackson circa 1999?

And then I suspect the other twin has joined a dangerous toddler gang terrorizing the parks and playgroups around Chicago.

No wonder The Gap rejected us -- we need a makeover! And maybe one of those de-programmers who specialize in breaking at-risk youth's ties to fellow gang members.

Yup, that's all I've got today, people. Weak, I know.

  1. I love those hoodies - did you get them at the Gap? ha ha - I thought about entering the contest for my twin 4 month old girls but didn't want to compete with you and wasn't sure that my bald lil girls would get in:) They are cute but could use some hair:)

  3. Your girls are super cute! But I don't think a haircut is a good idea . . . too much upkeep. Go with Stina's idea and some barrettes.

  4. Time to break into the wonderful world of toddler hair accessories! Good luck with that.

  6. The Gap -- who needs 'em? But I hear Parenting.com has a model contest going on, if you want to make another attempt.... ;)

  7. Those girls are adorable! My youngest (and only girl) has curly brown hair and I decided pretty early on that she was destined for bangs. It's growing out all over, and it's down to her shoulder blades in the back when it's wet, but god bless those bangs. I do have a beautiful assortment of hair clips (and I'll happily tell you all about the lady I ordered them from and how she let me custom design them and everything!) but her hair isn't very thick yet, so they tend to slide out, plus there's the danger of stabbing her in the eye or other part of the head when I try to get them in, so we're just going with the "bangs keep it out of her eyes, I comb it at least every other day, and sometimes I tuck it behind her ears" look. But it's way cuter than my hair!
